Stock up: Obi Toppin, Wing, Dayton, 10th in my Mock Draft

If you have been keeping up with college hoops this year, I know what you are thinking, how is his stock going up? How can Obi Toppin become more of a phenom than he already is? How can he improve his NBA Draft stock?

Well, his 20 points, seven rebounds, and two assists with almost 40 percent shooting from deep is impressive. So are his jaw-dropping, sensational, ridiculous highlights. Like this in-game between the legs fastbreak dunk.

However, he plays for Dayton. The Flyers are not exactly a blue blood program in a major conference. He has not gotten to showcase his complete game to the nation. Now, the A10 tournament will not really allow Toppin to do that against tough competition, but the tv marketability will be there starting this week.

If you remember a year ago at this time, we all knew Ja Morant was good. However, it was not until he was able to showcase it at the NCAA Tournament level that he got the respect and notoriety he deserved with his Murray State Racers.

After this week, Obi Toppin will be almost everyone’s NBA Draft darling.
