It was another one of those games’ where Burton showcased his full skillset. That included a ferocious dunk where he received the pass from Dennis Schroder, opened up the lane and attacked the rim.
It is often that Deonte Burton’s hard work can fly under the radar. TI’s Tamberlyn Richardson highlighted this earlier in the season.
But during the break, it is a good time to reflect on players like Burton who have proven that they can match up against the best. He’s similar to Dort, that in big moments you can trust him to step up.
These top games for him this season have all displayed that he has got the hallmarks of a great basketball talent.
Many of his teammates have had this potential too and have unlocked it, now it is Deonte Burton’s time to shine.
