In a review of his top three games this season Nerlens Noel had six tenacious dunks in the OKC Thunder victory over the Orlando Magic.

OKC Thunder center Nerlens Noel is a dunk machine who can put up a slam on your favorite player and make it look easy.

Noel is also a versatile defender who can guard anyone on the court with his amazing agility and length. This year he’s played exceptionally well despite experiencing a left ankle injury.

When the Thunder has needed him most with Steven Adams out, he has stepped up and filled a big void. Noel is 12th in the league for blocks per game with 1.5, being only one of two players (Mitchell Robinson of Knicks) in the top 12 who are not full-time starters.

He continues to have a significant impact on the Thunder, contributing in all areas and making them a formidable and complete squad.

In 2019-20 he is averaging 7.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.0 steals in 55 games. If the NBA season resumes and assuming he plays in OKC’s remaining 18 games, he will finish having played in 72 matches. This means that despite suiting up in fewer encounters this year, his numbers will still be better than last season.

We’ve definitely seen some growth from the center, making for some spectacular season highlights.

Flying high in Orlando:

One of Noel’s best games this season came against the Orlando Magic in a 120-114 victory on January 22nd. As Adams remained out with injury, Noel got his fifth start of the year and did not disappoint.

He was absolutely unstoppable bringing so much confidence and aggression on his way to slamming down an extraordinary six dunks. The Magic could not contain him and were forced to play witness as he leaped for lob after lob from either Chris Paul or Dennis Schroder.

In an impressive all-round effort, Noel finished the night with 14 points, seven rebounds, two blocks, and a steal.
