Dennis Schroder was the star for the OKC Thunder when they visited the home of the Lakeshow on November 19th.
He had a phenomenal game leading all Thunder scorers with 31 points off the bench and second overall behind Anthony Davis. It became his season-high which he has gone onto achieve twice throughout the year.
When his teammates weren’t able to match the Lakers, it was Schroder who continued to fire shots and keep them going. One highlight included a reverse layup while being defended by LA big man Dwight Howard.
At the end of the game, Schroder had shot 60 percent from the field and offered up four rebounds and an assist.
Play of the season – Adams long bomb to Schroder forces overtime:
Lastly a special mention to one of the most memorable games against the Minnesota Timberwolves on the 6th of December.
It was where Big Kiwi Steven Adams threw an extraordinary quarterback pass to the German on the other side of the court as he scooped the ball into the basket to beat the buzzer. Sending the game into overtime as OKC won 139-127.
As it still remains uncertain whether the NBA season will resume and if we’ll get to see Schroder and the Thunder in action again, what we do know is that Dennis Schroder is still our sixth man of the year.
These highlights show us how he’s put together an unbelievable season that we will always remember.
