OKC Thunder: Steven Adams top 5 games feature miracle dime
Adams causes trouble for Embiid and Simmons:
Steven Adams won the contest against Joel Embiid and went for a season-high 24 points against the Philadelphia 76ers on January 6th.
He not only led the Thunder, but he led all scorers and had an outstanding game. It wasn’t enough as OKC went down by seven points. But his contribution throughout the entire match did not go unnoticed.

In an almost flawless performance, he added 15 rebounds, two blocks, and one assist on 75 percent free-throw shooting. Nobody on the floor got that many rebounds other than Ben Simmons. Nine of those were offensive rebounds which the 76ers had to get through five different players.
Adams’ defense on Embiid was also above average holding the big man to 18 points on 7 of 17 shooting including three missed perimeter shots.
The Thunder center was an absolute force, pressuring Embiid with his aggressive play. It was arguably his best game of the year.
