In the final question of the OKC Thunder 30 for 30 roundtable the writing team dive into the prospect of a season return, seeding and winners of the first round.

As the Thunderous Intentions writing team arrives at the final question of the OKC Thunder 30 for 30 series it’s time to tackle a tough subject. Specifically, we’re diving into which teams will land playoff seeds and of those teams who will win the first round in each series.

The issue is making those selections without all the knowledge required. We’re presuming the season returns but what will that season look like? Will there be regular-season games played and if so how many? How much preparation time will teams be given to get back in shape? And, will playoff series be shortened to expedite the completion of the 2019-20 campaign.

None of these questions will be answered at least until May 1st, and there’s no guarantee Adam Silver will have the information even at that point to make a determination. June 15th seems to be the absolute cut-off based on comments made Friday by the Commissioner.

Assuming there are a portion of games played prior the OKC Thunder could still be in that mix. Especially if the last game (versus the Jazz) is played and the Thunder win which would push OKC up the ladder into fourth.

What we do know is until the CDC (Center for Disease Control) gives the go-ahead nothing will change. For the purposes of answering this question, the writers each answered based on what they thought would happen. And, much like the NBA is uncertain each writer has a unique take on what they think will occur.

With that, I give you question 30 from the series…
