Joining a special young core:

The OKC Thunder boast a young but determined core group of players who want and know how to win. It seems that this group will lead the Thunder into the future and just imagine Hampton pairing up with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in the backcourt. That would be a star power duo.

Over the years the OKC Thunder has persistently shown why they are a suitable place for growing players and helping them to reach their full potential. Just look at superstars who will forever be synonymous with the team in Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant.

Hampton would fit seamlessly into the squad with the likes of Darius Bazley, Luguentz Dort and Hamidou Diallo who are all still young players and learning the ropes of the NBA. As this core continues to develop, it could make for one of the best teams in the National Basketball Association.
