Gallinari seals the deal in Detroit:

It seems we cannot talk about a Thunder player without mentioning the word clutch. It’s as if it’s ingrained into their culture and system. Much like his teammates have done, Gallinari displayed his own late-game heroics against the Detroit Pistons on March 4th.

With 22 seconds left on the clock and OKC up by only one point, Gallinari knocked down a huge shot from beyond the ark to give the Thunder a 111-107 lead.

Tremendous defense including 13 steals from five different Thunder players contributed to OKC being able to come out on top while Gallo’s 3-pointer in the dying moments ultimately secured the win.

In fact, four of those team steals were snagged by Gallinari who also scored 19 points, seven rebounds, and an assist.

The Italian did it all and especially showcased his defensive strength. Making everything look so easy and proving to be a weapon under the rim.

This was one of Gallo’s best all-around games in the 2019-20 campaign.
