Five former OKC Thunder players we’d love to see in the Big Brother reality-style Big3 tournament television show.

With the OKC Thunder on hiatus due to suspension fans are also at home. Everyone is thirsting for live sports or any kind.  In recent weeks ESPN and the NBA delivered a HORSE competition and as of this past weekend, the 10 part series The Last Dance – featuring Michael Jordan and his Chicago Bulls final title run of 1997-98 debuted.

These events and features are helping ease our entertainment needs but we’re still pining for action. Generally, sports are what help us get through trying times and that’s what makes this pandemic so unique. The absence of live-action sports has many of us searching for something to fill that void.

If the ESPN H-O-R-S-E challenge served as the appetizer than perhaps the main course might be something of an entirely different nature.

To wit, co-owners of the Big3 League (Ice Cube and Jeff Kwatinetz) suggested a proposed three on three basketball tournament filmed in a reality-based style. As Ice Cube noted it would be a marriage of reality show Big Brother and the Big3 League.

The proposed show would take place in an isolated house with a basketball court and include between 16 and 22 players. Those players would be primarily comprised of former NBA talents. Some of the players initially discussed as potential participants are Big3 MVP Joe Johnson, Zach Randolph, and Greg Oden.

The teams would be constantly reshuffled and the individual would be eliminated from the competition when they suffered three losses.

Of course, fans would be thrilled to be able to see live basketball of any sort, but could the reality portion of the show be even more enticing?

Fans of Big Brother know what happens on the live feeds tends to be almost, if not more, interesting because they are happening in real-time. Semantics on the off court portion of this production hasn’t been defined.

Yet, that got me thinking about personalities who could liven up this basketball-reality production. As such here are five former OKC Thunder players who would be ideal candidates for this show.
