5 former OKC Thunder players we’d love to see in Big3 reality based tournament
Raymond Felton:
For those who’ve followed our site for a while, you might break out laughing at this suggestion since I gave Raymond Felton a pretty hard time during his tenure.
The shade vacillated between my rants about Felton being overweight and in his ball-hoggery (is that a word?) when he did play. The rotund little general drove many OKC Thunder fans crazy when he’d hit the court because he rarely bothered to call anyone else’s number but his own.
But hey, that’s what would make him perfect for a three on three tournament since they need players who’ll not be afraid to shoot. Besides – – don’t you want to see what kind of shape he’s in?
Felton played his last two seasons in the NBA with the OKC Thunder appearing in all 82 games in 2017-18 and in 33 games last season. The 35-year old averaged 6.1 points, 2.2 assists, and 1.7 rebounds during this time.
Rumored to be a positive voice in the locker room and supportive of his teammates Felton would be able to keep everyone happy in the house while under quarantine. And – hey he probably is a great cook since he loves to eat (okay – just a little shade).
