Fox Oklahoma is replaying the OKC Thunder – Orlando Magic January 22nd game tonight at 7:00 and 10:00 p.m. CT. Here are three areas of focus from the win.

While we search for great television content to keep ourselves occupied Fox Sports Oklahoma is serving up replays of the best OKC Thunder games from this season.

Within the 64 games played through to the suspension, the Thunder has several matches that make the mark. That’s mostly due to the clutch time victories the team kept amassing.

Leading up to the game the Thunder were riding a high having beat the Rockets 112-107, two nights prior in Houston for their 25th win of the season.

The club was developing chemistry and had their clutch time identity was a real thing having collected 15 of 20 wins in the December 6th through January 13th segment of 20 games on the seasonal calendar.

Shorthanded OKC Thunder rise to the occasion:

Throughout the history of the franchise one team that always seems to serve up dramatic matches is the Orlando Magic. Think back to the night Victor Oladipo and Russell Westbrook took turns taking killer shots and forcing the teams into overtime as an example. Or Westbrook’s MVP season when the Orlando crowd serenaded him with chants of MVP.

From the tip, there was uncertainty regarding this match as Steven Adams and Terrance Ferguson were both ruled out. Stepping in to replace them as starters were Nerlens Noel and Luguentz Dort.

The team rallied together taking an early lead in the first frame shooting with great efficiency and while they lost the third frame it was the only quarter in the match the Thunder trailed.

On this evening the Thunder shot well from all areas of the court including 60.5 percent from the field, 47.4 from the perimeter, and 82.6 percent from the charity stripe.
