With OKC Thunder captain Chris Paul turning 35, Thunderous Intentions pay homage to the point guard via his 35 best moments from this season.

Entering his 15th season Chris Paul was deemed to be on the downside of his career. Yet the trade that landed him with the OKC Thunder has provided evidence to the contrary.

Switching to an all plant-based diet the veteran is reinvigorated and looking sprier than he has in years. Frequently ridiculed as injury prone he’s appeared in 63 of the Thunder 64 games; missing the one game while still grieving the loss of his good friend Kobe Bryant.

Often cited as a locker room cancer Paul has dispensed of that notion as the group in OKC are thick as thieves. Although the future is set to revolve around backcourt partner Shai Gilgeous-Alexander at present – the OKC Thunder is Chris Paul’s team. The ‘Raging Bull’ swagger is back and it resonates throughout the roster.

Despite his natural fit with the Thunder system, many expected Paul would be traded. However, those preseason shouts ebbed into softer whispers as the trade deadline approached. While Sam Presti will definitely listen to calls this offseason it’s not a given the veteran is going anywhere. And, if CP3 is traded the GM will make the opposing club pay a steep price while likely ensuring the point guard ends up on a team with a shot at competing.

Today –  May 6th marks the date of Chris Paul’s birth and as he enters his 35th-year Thunderous Intentions reflects back upon the magical moments of CP3’s season.

Included in the 35 segments are his best overall game performances of the season, specific highlights from games, off-court moments, and a few other special secrets.

Enjoy!
