January 31st at Phoenix Suns:
This match began a streak of 15 games where Chris Paul scored in double-digits right up until the suspension. Paul delivered a double-double of 20 points and 10 assists along with six rebounds and three steals.
February 13th at New Orleans Pelicans:
Another double-double of 14 points and 12 assists by the veteran point guard along with eight rebounds and two steals (and two of three 3-pointers)
February 21st versus Denver Nuggets:
Games versus fellow Northwest division teams are important and this match, in particular, mattered given how poorly the Thunder match up versus the Nuggets size. Paul was a beast collecting 29 points (20 in the second half) while adding four rebounds, two assists, and connecting on four of his six 3-point shots.
CP3 led the Thunder in scoring and was the only player on the club to break 20 points. In addition, he ran the pick and roll and lob passes to Steven Adams to perfection with the big man also collecting a double-double of 19 points and 17 big rebounds.
To close the half he hit a walk-up, dead center 3-pointer, and followed it up with a circus shot getting hit on the play to send him to the charity stripe (both plays can be viewed starting at 1:03 of video).
