Suits steal the show during five-game homestand:

The longest homestand for the OKC Thunder this season took place in mid-December. During those five games, a lot happened.

The Thunder won four of the five matches with the last game netting the only loss. That it came in the second meeting versus Memphis (December 26th) was nothing to hang their heads over since that victory for the Grizzlies sparked what became a 15-5 run through their next 20 games.

During these five home games, the Thunder came back from double-digit deficits to beat the Bulls and Grizzlies (December 18th) by 26 and 24 points respectively.

And, Paul George made his return to the court he was expected to play at least another two seasons prior to his trade demand.

Even with all this activity going on in OKC they weren’t the big news of the five dates. Instead, a gesture by Chris Paul dominated the news cycle and social media.

Prior to the December 18th Grizzlies match, all he Thunder players arrived in custom made suits. The dapper duds were a gift courtesy of Chris Paul.

It was one of those special highlights of the season where the drip was on high and served to showcase how tight this team is and perhaps most importantly who was driving the chemistry class behind the scenes.
