November 7th versus Spurs

Although the Thunder lost the game to the Spurs this contest highlighted how crafty the veteran’s game is. In the clip below (5:06) watch as CP3 turns Dejounte Murray inside out as he navigates his way to the basket. Murray for the record is one of the better young defenders in the league.

Also in this match, CP3 hit a buzzer-beating 3-point shot at the end of the first quarter.

November 9th versus the Golden State Warriors:

Without Stephen Curry or Klay Thompson, the Dubs became easy pickings for most teams this season. Still, no game is a gimme, and Paul made sure to keep the home team balanced and focused coming close to a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds as well as five rebounds and three steals.

Another sign the veteran hadn’t lost a step was the three steals in this win totaled 16 through the first nine games of the season.
