OKC Thunder look to stop bubble surprise packet, the Phoenix Suns
Odds-predictions
The Suns are favored which might surprise if not for their 5-0 record and the fact the Thunder are playing on consecutive days.
Another factor could be the availability of Steven Adams. If both Adams and Noel can’t go again (as well as Dennis Schroder who isn’t back yet) that’s another reason why the Phoenix got the nod as 5.5 point favorites. The over/under seems a bit high given the Thunder second-ranked bubble defense but again that gets impacted by Adams being in the mix.
Game specifics
Suns Record/Seed: 31-39
Don’t let the losing record fool you, the Suns are one of the hottest teams in basketball right now, winning all five of their bubble games.
Thunder Record/Seed 43-26

With the win against the Wizards, the OKC Thunder are still pressuring for the fourth seed in the West. The fourth-placed Houston Rockets over the Kings keeps them a game clear of the Thunder.
The Thunder can drop down a place to sixth if the Utah Jazz beat the Dallas Mavericks and the Thunder lose to the Suns.
This is how tight the race for fourth through sixth is. With only three games remaining it is hard to see the Thunder pulling back the 2.5 games required to displace the Denver Nuggets out of the third seed.
