Schroder back to his typical Sixth Man dominance:

In the first two games of the series, Dennis Schroder didn’t seem to be fully himself. That was understandable given his time spent outside the bubble to welcome his daughter into the world.

More from Thunderous Intentions

In the last two games, however, he’s been much more active on both sides of the floor. There was numerous possession in the last two games where his speed and change of speed is factoring as the Rockets’ defenders get caught unable to switch their own recovery speed and it’s paying dividends for OKC.

Schroder finished Game 4 with some heady stats posting his career-best playoff scoring effort of 30 points. The German shot 10 of 16 from the field and 4 of 7 from deep. His shot selection was also much improved over Game 3 when he took 23 shot attempts with 10 from the perimeter. To put in perspective – James Harden took 25 shots in Game 4.

Schroder was also much more aggressive getting to the line seven times in this match following nine attempts in Game 3.

Post-game grades can be viewed via this link. The Thunder are back in action tomorrow in a pivotal Game 5 when one of the teams will take the edge in this best of seven series.
