OKC Thunder lose a heartbreaking Game 7 to the Houston Rockets

Darius Bazley needed to play more tonight. He hit two threes en route to six points and played well given the opportunity. He was a great surprise this series hitting half of his 3-point attempts throughout the seven games. Thunder fans have to be excited about this kid’s future, however. So much potential.
Best Opponent:
It pains me to write this, as Russell Westbrook was ultimately the reason the OKC Thunder will not be advancing to the playoffs (again). Joke aside, Russ was simply great tonight. He made up for his disaster in Game 6 to score 20 points and have 9 boards.
He may not have had the best statistical night for a Rocket, but his impact on the outcome was clear. He set the tone when Harden could not and it was the difference. Best of luck against the Lakers, Brodie.

Notes:
- I’m sad
- Buying a Lu Dort jersey seems like a Thunder fan requirement after tonight
- I hope the Lakers squash the Rockets
- Harden was bailed out by Russ but no one is going to talk about it. There, I said it.
