OKC Thunder: First phase of NBA Draft Combine launches this week
The OKC Thunder and their peers will capitalize on the NBA Draft Combine that begins this week.
This is a busy week for the National Basketball Association as the NBA Finals tips off on Wednesday between the Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat. Closing to home the big news is the OKC Thunder and their peers will be looking at potential draft prospects.
Albeit, this year the draft will be undertaken in a highly different manner. Just as the league had to get creative in order to resume the season, likewise they are handling the NBA Draft in a completely new way.
This week beginning on Monday, September 28th the first phase of the NBA Draft Combine will take place. That will include player interviews via zoom media.
Some of the top players aren’t participating such as Anthony Edwards, Obi Toppin, and James Wiseman. However, there are still some top-end prospects such as LaMelo Ball and RJ Hampton are as per Shams Charania.

61 players out of the 104 invited to the NBA Combine phases of the draft process will participate. While interviews will run throughout the Combine, 14 prospects are scheduled to occur in the first three days this week including LaMelo Ball.
