Vanderbilt wing Aaron Nesmith is arguably the best 3-point sniper in the class and as such should garner interest from the OKC Thunder.

In the new era of the NBA, perimeter excellence will always be a coveted trait among the prospects who declare for the draft. Vanderbilt sophomore Aaron Nesmith offers those attributes to the nth degree. Given this promise, it’s unlikely he’ll be on the board when the OKC Thunder selects at 25 in the first round.

The question is – should the OKC Thunder consider making moves to add a player of Nesmith’s ilk? He’s shown that perimeter shot got better in his second season and with the coaching of Jerry Stackhouse, his defense made strides this season.

Current Ranking:

Nesmith varies between being selected in the lottery or falling to the end of the first round. More analysts agree he’ll be in the former category which makes sense given his perimeter prowess.
