OKC Thunder draft prospect profile: Tyrell Terry
The next great 3-point sniper could be Stanford guard Tyrell Terry but has his rising draft stock put him out of the OKC Thunder reach?
Stanford guard Tyrell Terry quickly became a player the writers at Thunderous Intentions keyed on for the OKC Thunder. Unfortunately, just like Tyler Herro jumped up boards last season the same is happening to Terry.
We’re not saying Terry is an apple to apple comparison to Herro – – rather that he was seeded late in the first round and would’ve been a steal for OKC. Unfortunately, his stock began to rise especially after his interviews.
Teams quickly figured out how committed the youngster is to his own improvement, his quality of character, and his obvious intelligence. And that’s not even factoring in he might be the best shooter in the 2020 Draft class!
Now, for Sam Presti to land Terry he’ll have to pull off one of his special magic tricks. Although it’s looking like the Thunder will have extra picks based on trades expected to occur on or before draft night.
With that, let’s take a look at Tyrell Terry and gauge whether the youngster is a prospect Presti should make some moves to land.

Current Ranking:
Terry is like many of the prospects in this class who range all over the spectrum in projected draft spots. Kevin O’Connor aligns with my thinking that Terry is a top ten prospect while ESPN is leaning more toward the bust narrative.
