Season goal for Admiral Schofield No. 1) Recapture his 3-point shooting

During his four years at Tennessee, Schofield developed into a solid 3-point shooter.

In his first season, he went 25-of-83 from downtown, which equates to 30.1 percent. The next season he shot the ball less from deep with greater efficiency, going 21-of-54, which is good for 38.9 percent.

The story of growth continues in the next two years.

His role expanded as other players left and Schofield went 64-of-162 in his third year which was a 39.5 percent shooting clip. During his final season, he would go on to shoot the ball at more than 40 percent clip.

Schofield actually shot 41.8 percent from deep, which is a terrific number.

However, this did not translate into his rookie NBA season. Part of this may have been due to the extra distance of the NBA 3-point line however, it is so hard to know for sure because Schofield was used so infrequently by the Wizards.

Schofield only took 1.8 shots from deep per game, making only 31.1 percent of them. This number was certainly not enough to displace either Hachimura or Davis Bertans who became a sensation for the Wizards with his shooting.

If Schofield can recapture the shooting form he had in college, he fits the rebuild timeline perfectly being only 23-years-old. It is unlikely he would be a starter but he could be a solid bench contributor in the future.
