Season goal for Josh Hall No. 1) Establish his identity as a professional

Usually, when players enter the NBA they have a season of college ball behind them at the very least. If they come over from an international league then they have often played several seasons of professional basketball. If you are good enough as a 15-year-old you can play pro ball in Europe.

Theo Maldon, one of the Thunder rookies this year is only 19 and has played three seasons of professional basketball already. Likewise, Aleksej Pokusevski is only18 and has played a season of professional basketball in Greece.

As a result, we have seen what they can do against professional players which is not something that can be said for Hall. We have seen that he is a good high school player with his shooting but this may not translate to the NBA level of ball.

He has the chance to show the Thunder that he is going to be a hard-working player, who takes his diet, recovery, and training regime seriously. Currently, he is a clean slate, a player with no expectations placed upon him. This is an enviable position for a young player to be in. It is now up to him how his career progresses.
