OKC Thunder player No. 3) George Hill

Last, but certainly not least we have the player who, reportedly, is the most sought after player of the 3 mentioned, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, who recently stated the veteran point guard has been drawing considerable interest from teams “around the league.”

Last season, George Hill averaged 9.4 points, 3.1 assists, and 3.0 rebounds per game on a career-high 52 percent shooting from the field and 46 percent shooting from three-point range for the Milwaukee Bucks and logged 21.5 minutes a night.

Frankly, the attributes in which Hill brings to the table should be highly sought after, as he is a veteran leader who rarely makes mistakes and can both create for himself as well as for others.

Flipping the 34-year-old should be no problem for Sam Presti and co. should they opt to go this route and, perhaps the team that would make the most sense to pursue him would be…

The Los Angeles Lakers

In the past, we’ve discussed the idea of George Hill landing on the Los Angeles Clippers, and even discussed a specific deal that would help bring him there. However, this is an article based on opposing teams’ wish lists and, quite frankly, the point guard would be a much better fit on the Lakers than on the Clips.

At his ripe age, Hill is more of a safety blanket ball handler rather than the main option for the role. With the Clippers, being they lack a true floor general, he’d likely be entrusted with the main handler duties.

With the Lakers, however, they already have a floor general in LeBron James, thus allowing Hill to serve as more of a catch-and-shoot specialist and a secondary set-up guy, while also showing his worth on the less glamorous side of the ball as well.

Not only this, but by bringing on Hill, LA could then go about thrusting him into the starting rotation at the one which, in turn, would allow Dennis Schroder off the bench, something that Dan Favale of Bleacher Report feels is imperative for this team to flourish.

Next. Should they have gotten more from their recent trades?. dark
