Bubble Bazley is the real deal.

Darius Bazley was one of only three OKC Thunder players to play more than 30 minutes in the game. The other two were Dort and SGA which shows the Thunder are looking to use these three to set the identity of the team. All three of them responded to the added responsibility.

Bazley had the first double-double for the team this season collecting 15 points, and ten rebounds, He also had two blocks, one assist, and one steal in a good all-round game. He showed tremendous ability to play positively committing only one turnover and one foul.

The only difference between bubble Bazley and this season Bazley is that his shooting was not quite there. He hit only 1-of-5 from deep but was incredible from inside the arc going 7-of-12 from the field. This meant that he only missed one shot inside which was not from deep.

This shows tremendous growth in the game of Bazley. Instead of passing the ball off when he was shooting poorly, Bazley was attacking the rim. This did not allow the defense to focus on SGA or Hill. This is going to have such a positive impact on the Thunder offense, helping take the pressure off the team’s stars.
