More from Thunderous Intentions

While Thunder fans have geared themselves up for a losing season, the Hornets game showed the Thunder will not simply give up. These athletes are competitors and in each game, they will go out trying to win. Admittedly the Hornets are not the benchmark of the NBA, they are still a competitive team and the Thunder were able to beat them.

On top of that, players like Dort and Bazley have already shown that when they are given more freedom, they are incredible to watch. On one of the first plays, Bazley shot the three and missed it. Dort came out of nowhere for the offensive rebound and gave the Thunder a second chance. It is plays like this which just made this game fun.

Watching SGA grow into a leader and Hamidou Diallo explode with his nuclear athleticism are going to be storylines that punctuate all 72 games. However, it is the growth of the new players which is going to be fun and exciting to watch as they develop into the start of what they are going to become in this league.
