OKC Thunder starting lineup grades:

G/F. Oklahoma City Thunder. SHAI GILGEOUS-ALEXANDER. A+.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was a smooth operator as always. He came out knocking down a big three which set the tone for the rest of the game. He did a superb job of leading his team. From beyond the arc, he shot an improved three of three and was eight of 10 from the field. As well as four of five from the free-throw line.

A stat line of 23 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists is enough said in itself.

LU DORT. A. . PG. Oklahoma City Thunder

After a career-night against the Utah Jazz, Dort came out with 15 points and four assists. In a mixed bag of grades for the squad, I say that Dort was right in the middle. He shot three beautiful buckets from range and helped hold the fort on the scoring end.

JUSTIN JACKSON. B. . G/F. Oklahoma City Thunder

For his first game for the Thunder, Jackson didn’t have the best game, but he also didn’t play badly. He put up eight points, three assists, and two rebounds and looked comfortable being in the starting rotation. After one game I believe that the best is yet to come for the fourth-year player.

C. . SF. Oklahoma City Thunder. DARIUS BAZLEY

Bazley’s potential and high expectations of him this season is why I give him a C. Baze recorded an odd three of 14 from the field and missed all of his three-point attempts.

I truly believe that this year is going to be a breakout one for Baze and that 6 points, 6 rebounds, and two assists are only a hint of his phenomenal potential. It was just one of those games but do expect him to come back stronger in the next game.

ISAIAH ROBY. A+. . F. Oklahoma City Thunder

Roby was one of the best players on the court. Behind SGA, he was the Thunder’s second-highest scorer with 19 points and 7 rebounds. And was the third-highest scorer overall.

He didn’t force shots and was excellent under the rim. In fact, it was rare for him to even miss a shot throughout the game. It was a stellar showcase from a player that has a lot of upside, showing that when players aren’t available he is a legitimate scorer and second option.
