OKC Thunder: 3 players most likely to be off roster come season’s end

OKC Thunder player No. 2) Al Horford, PF/ C
Next up, we see the likes of Al Horford, a guy who, quite possibly, has the lowest value on the entire OKC Thunder roster.
Once a perennial All-Star, the big man finds himself on his third team in three seasons and, most likely, will be on one more before the 2020-21 season comes to an end.
After signing a lucrative 4-year, $109 million deal with the Philadelphia 76ers last offseason, the veteran big man went on to have one of his worst seasons as a pro.
Through 67 games, Al Horford posted 11.9 points and 6.8 rebounds on 45 percent shooting from the field, and, with his lackadaisical production, wound up losing his starting spot in the rotation for a brief period of time.
Now, in year 14, the 34-year-old is trying to prove he can still be an effective contributor in this league and, if you ask us here at TI, he’ll likely be successful in this effort.
Though only playing in two games thus far, Horford has shown he still has the ability to space the floor, gobble up boards, and take command of the paint, as he is posting solid averages of 10.3 points, eight rebounds, and 3.3 assists on 50 percent shooting from the field and 43 percent shooting from deep.
There are many teams that should be interested in acquiring his skillset and veteran experience –the Dallas Mavericks, perhaps? Sooner or later, these teams will start to inquire about Big-Al’s availability.
