OKC Thunder starting lineup grades:

With the loss and key improvements to be made, everyone gets a B for their performance.

B+. . PG/SG. Oklahoma City Thunder. SHAI GILGEOUS-ALEXANDER

SGA recorded 20 points, nine rebounds, and two assists on 70 percent shooting. It was also his fourth straight game with 20 or more points. He made a significant impact, scoring in traffic and setting the pace.

One thing to note though is that he only took ten shots and I would’ve liked to see him on the court more throughout the game. We all know for sure that when he’s in control he can actually perform miracles. But overall it was still a good game for the young franchise leader.

B. . G. Oklahoma City Thunder. LU DORT

Dort was making it rain against the Spurs, draining a trio of jumpers from deep. He powered his way to the basket and continues to prove that he isn’t just an incredible defender.

He scored 12 points and added six rebounds and a steal. The reason I give him a B is that I feel he still has a lot more to show us, including some skills which are still to be translated from last season.

He went four from seven from the field, and no doubt that stat will improve over the course of the season.

B. . G. Oklahoma City Thunder. GEORGE HILL

Hill recorded 12 points, five rebounds, and five assists on 100 percent free-throw percentage and going three of four from the field. He did an amazing job of dishing out to his teammates and helping on the boards.

His offensive strength combined with experience continues to be very valuable for the team and if he can be consistent and even increase his numbers, this would benefit OKC immensely.

B. . SF. Oklahoma City Thunder. DARIUS BAZLEY

Bazley had a nice all-around game with 12 points, six rebounds, two assists, two three-pointers, and a block. My favorite moment of his was his vicious slam in the third quarter to tie the game. He made a good impact on the boards but like Dort, I still think his accuracy could be better as he went four from 14 from the floor.

F/C. Oklahoma City Thunder. AL HORFORD. B.

Despite the loss, Al Horford was the catalyst of one of the best moments with that massive slam.

He was also superb under the rim, brushing past defenders to make it look effortless, but couldn’t get any shots to fall from beyond the arc. He finished the game with 10 points, seven rebounds, and three assists.
