OKC Thunder starting lineup grades:

Oklahoma City Thunder. SHAI GILGEOUS-ALEXANDER. B+. . PG/SG

SGA was still smooth and savvy getting to the basket but had a more quiet performance than a usual Shai game. He scored 14 points, had seven assists and five rebounds.

Considering the mastery of the Nuggets he wasn’t able to have much of an influence but as always he’ll be back.

Oklahoma City Thunder. LU DORT. A+. . G/F

Dort was sublime.

His three-point streak continues. He knocked down a trio of three-pointers which means he has hit a jumper from beyond the arc in every single game this season. Not bad for a guy who teams passed on because he “couldn’t shoot.”

OKC’s cult hero recorded 20 points, five rebounds, three assists, and one steal.

B. . G. Oklahoma City Thunder. GEORGE HILL

Hill spent 22 minutes on the floor. He recorded six points which came from two three-pointers and added two assists.

I believe we’re still waiting for him to display his full skill set. We know that not everyone will score double-digits every game. But his 21 point season opener or 18 points in a win over Orlando at the beginning of the month, are signs that he can be better.

F. Oklahoma City Thunder. ISAIAH ROBY. A.

Roby had another impressive game getting the nod to start and showing us why he’s going to be a mainstay on the roster. He was hustling on defense despite the mismatch between him and Jokic. He also showed tremendous fight and commitment, as well as good shooting.

He finished with 10 points, nine rebounds, FOUR steals, and three assists.

B+. . SF. Oklahoma City Thunder. DARIUS BAZLEY

Much like SGA, it was a quiet day at the office for Baze. He finished with 12 points, two rebounds, and two blocks.

But a positive is that he hit double-digits for the first time in three games and was looking good from the first whistle. He’ll look to get even better in OKC’s next game in LA.
