OKC Thunder land a potential stud for a player and a pick

We get it, many fans are not too high on the idea of trading away draft picks, especially for someone with as much baggage as Kevin Porter Jr.

That said, we’re not talking about shipping out any of OKC’s own picks, nor are we even considering any first-rounder.

With the wing’s stock having dropped so low, we believe that a player plus a second-rounder could be enough to bring him to the Thunder.

Here, we see second-year center Moses Brown and Denver’s 2021 second-round pick heading to Cleveland.

In and out of the G-League during his rookie season with the Portland Trail Blazers, Brown finds himself in a similar situation in Oklahoma City after signing a two-way contract this offseason.

Still only 21 with a 7-2 build, the young big has reason for intrigue, especially considering the Cavaliers are most likely looking to part with current starting five Andre Drummond at some point this season.

And, of course, the Thunder bring back Kevin Porter Jr. who, in his rookie campaign, posted impressive numbers of 10 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and just shy of a steal per game on 44 percent shooting from the field and 34 percent shooting from deep.

A high-upside player for a price like this?
