No. 2) Isaiah Roby builds his resume

Roby was spectacular, recording his first double-double with 10 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, and a steal. He and Darius Bazley combined for 21 rebounds and did an outstanding job of guarding the boards.

I am constantly amazed at the talent OKC has and continues to unveil. I’m also getting Lu Dort vibes from watching Roby play. Not because they have the same style, but because like Dort in his rookie year, Roby has the same determination and confidence.

He is getting his first real experience of NBA game time and is thriving because of the work he’s putting in paired with the faith the team has in him. And he deserves every bit of it.

I have a feeling that sometime this season Thunder fans might just start calling him their cult hero. As a starter, he is doing exceptionally well filling Al Horford’s position and embraced the challenge of taking on Serge Ibaka and Ivica Zubac.
