Another season and another leap in production

This season, Diallo has thankfully avoided the injury bug and while he’s still primarily serving as a reserve player his growth is palpable.

Diving into his production Diallo has improved in virtually every key category. Although his minutes have increased it’s only by 2.2 minutes which isn’t a huge change.

However, his points have almost doubled from 6.9 to 12.6 this year. A big shift is his playmaking skills with the youngster averaging 2.3 dimes per game almost three times more than last season (0.8).

Diallo’s shooting splits are also improved and while the focus remains on his issues scoring from the perimeter he is demonstrating slight growth. No, it’s not in the range the Thunder would like him to be (over 35 percent) but the constant and gradual improvement is a positive sign.
