If you’re an OKC Thunder fan and you’re not on Twitter, are you really a fan?

Twitter is where it’s at. And #ThunderTwitter is the place to be especially since fans haven’t been able to watch OKC live at home this season. From updates, banter and virtually cheering with fellow Thunder enthusiasts.

As this week comes to an end, here is the first in a series of “top fan tweets” that we’ll be putting out every Sunday. Whenever your tweeting this week, make sure to tag and follow our Twitter  @thunderousint for more awesome content. We would also love to see what you’re talking about and how you’re doing. We might just feature your tweet in our weekly round-up.

Here are the top three fan tweets this week.

Top 3 OKC Thunder fan tweets:

First up is this fantastic illustration from @sumblime50illus1 of Lu Dort.

The person behind the Velveeta cheese Twitter page is no doubt an NBA fan and they’ve tweeted about Dort and his “LU-QUID GOLD DEVENSE.” And I am all here for this partnership!

Definitely give him a follow and check out his great work.

This fan tweet is absolutely fire. Like an OKC Thunder fan said in the comments, this needs to be put on a shirt. It’s a play on the famous quote from the film “The Dark Knight.”

The original quote says “Ah, you think darkness is your ally? You merely adopted the dark. I was born in it, molded by it.”

It’s inspiring, gives you goosebumps, and goes so well with this photo of Dort after their victory over the Bucks. I mean look at the man, the myth, and the defensive legend himself.

For anyone out there who has watched or likes the movie ‘Top gun,’ this is for you. A Mike Muscala, Nick “Goose” Bradshaw comparison.

This tweet plus their superb Thunder content deserves a follow.

This is a bonus tweet as I think it’s too good not to share. Over the years, the Thunder have helped their young players develop into superstars. With so many incredible rising stars on this current squad such as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Dort, and Theo Maledon, I couldn’t agree more with this statement.

That was it for this week, but be sure to keep an eye out for next week’s top three to see if you made it. As always have an amazing week and #ThunderUp.

Next. Gilgeous-Alexander's strong All-Star case faces uphill battle. dark
