OKC Thunder takeaway No. 3) Roby is the Thunder’s future at forward

Roby has had a handful of brilliant games for the OKC Thunder in limited minutes.

Against the Orlando Magic in the third game of the season, Roby spent 28 minutes on the court, and in that time, he scored 19 points on 75 percent shooting. It was his highest-scoring game of the season and gave us a glimpse of what he can do when given the opportunity.

Since then, Roby has gone on to post double-digit scoring in 11 more games and has provided a much-needed boost in the rebounding game for the Thunder.

Roby is smart and agile. He can make mistakes at times, but he’s shown an ability to learn from that mistake and keep pushing forward. His development this season has been one of the biggest positives for the Thunder, and he has given the team a solid reason to keep him on the roster.

With time, Roby could develop into a star Thunder player.
