No team was hotter or more impressive this past week than the Heat. Their 4-0 record included wins against elite clubs who were also on winning streaks.
The schedule helped a bit as two of the teams were playing second games of back-to-back sets. OKC played the Cavaliers the night prior while the Raptors played the 76ers.
However, the Heat were also returning from a grueling seven-game road trip on the opposite coast so they were equally fatigued. Of the four wins that extended their win streak to six in a row, the victory versus the Jazz who was 22 of 24 at the time was the most impressive.
Jimmy Butler has been nothing short of spectacular since returning doing whatever is necessary to affect winning. Getting Goran Dragic back to help bolster the offense was also a big key.
As the teams arrive at the break it sure feels like the Heat and Raptors will continue to rise upward.
