The OKC Thunder are a team in the midst of a rebuild and, yet, they’ve been quite a joy to watch for both fans of the organization and, frankly, the sport of basketball as a whole.

Though they boast a sub-.500 record of 14-20, they are constantly finding themselves in a game till the bitter end and have attained victories against juggernauts such as the Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks, while staying in it till the bitter end against top-notch teams like the Los Angeles Lakers (twice) and Utah Jazz.

That said, even with their solid/ competitive production to date, the consensus belief is that Sam Presti and co. will eventually opt to lean more into the tank by looking to ship off some of their more valuable veteran commodities such as Trevor Ariza, Al Horford, and George Hill who, by all accounts, will be on many team’s wishlists by the deadline.

While the front office could very likely look to do one-up trades with just one other franchise, we at Thunderous Intentions are all about the multi-team deals.

The OKC Thunder must consider partaking in multi-team deals

Generally speaking, when joining in on multi-team proposals, more assets are seen moving around, and teams that possess ample cap space like the OKC Thunder are seen as helpful additions to aid in making it easier to move unwanted contracts.

With the recent news that current Houston Rockets guard Victor Oladipo turned down a multi-year extension with the franchise, the trade rumor mill has once again begun spinning, and there are likely to be many potential suitors for the former All-Star.

In today’s game, when high-profile names like Oladipo are moved, it usually involves multiple teams joining in on the festivities.

Today, we present to you 2 multi-team blockbuster deals involving the OKC Thunder that helps the wing get out of Houston:
