No. 2) OKC Thunder bench show out

Without Hami coming off the bench, it was the first time we got to see the second unit without him make their mark. But also to see how other guys on the Thunder were going to step up.

Ty Jerome was a standout.

In only his sixth game in a OKC uniform, he had a superb game, recording 11 points, five rebounds, five assists, and two three-pointers.

Moses Brown and Kenrich Williams contributed a combined 22 points and 11 rebounds off the bench.

Though they weren’t on the bench, Al Horford and Isaiah Roby also had good games. Horford scored 16 points on seven of nine from the field.

“You can’t teach hustle…I want my money and I want it now.” This is what Thunder broadcast analyst Michael Cage said during the game, describing the determination that Roby was playing with.

It’s always fun to watch and we know that we’ll continue to see that passion from the guys no matter what the score is.
