Unless the Mavericks get blown away by an offer don’t expect any big moves. Both General Manager, Donnie Nelson, and owner Mark Cuban stated they wanted to give the young core a chance to succeed.
They could use some tweaks here and there but it’s more likely to see them engaged with the buyout market for a big man than actively looking to make a definitive trade that shakes up the team chemistry which is just starting to click. In recent weeks their offense is looking more like last season’s historic group and the defense is finally improving — perhaps a result of having a healthy Maxi Kleber and Dwight Powell back on the court.
