Injuries:
Something that occurs on this injury report that I’ve never witnessed in all my years of watching and covering basketball games is three players on one team all in the concussion protocol program. In fact, I can’t recall two players on the same team being down at the same time.
The 76ers hadn’t provided their updates on the NBA injury report as of this posting, but the assumption is only one player is out and ironically that’s a player the OKC Thunder knows very well.
OKC Thunder:
More from Thunderous Intentions
- Stealing one player from every Southwest Division team for the OKC Thunder
- Should the OKC Thunder chase after a disgruntled hometown hero?
- 3 OKC Thunder players who can step up in Aleksej Pokusevski’s absence
- Aleksej Pokusevski sidelined approximately 6 weeks with ankle injury
- Damian Lillard does not fit with the OKC Thunder
Darius Bazley after missing 16 games with a shoulder contusion he’s listed as PROBABLE
Al Horford has been shut down for the season.
Mike Muscala is out with an ankle injury missing his 15th of the last 16 games.
Josh Hall is in the concussion protocol program.
Isaiah Roby is also in the concussion protocol program.
Ty Jerome is day-to-day with an ankle injury.
76ers:
- George Hill remains out with the same thumb injury that kept him off the court in OKC
History:
This is the first meeting between the squads this season. The second game will occur in Philadelphia on April 26th.
