OKC Thunder player grades: Lu Dort’s gem not enough vs. Pistons
Best OKC Thunder reserve performance:
Coming off the bench, Tony Bradley spent 23 minutes on the court and made four of his six field goals. He was the most accurate shooter out of the entire game. Bradley also shot 100 percent from the free-throw line. He finished with 11 points, seven rebounds, two steals, two blocks, and an assist.
Best opponent performance:
More from Thunderous Intentions
- Stealing one player from every Southwest Division team for the OKC Thunder
- Should the OKC Thunder chase after a disgruntled hometown hero?
- 3 OKC Thunder players who can step up in Aleksej Pokusevski’s absence
- Aleksej Pokusevski sidelined approximately 6 weeks with ankle injury
- Damian Lillard does not fit with the OKC Thunder
Jackson was undoubtedly the man of the match. With 29 points, seven rebounds, two steals, and a block. He took charge with his Pistons being undermanned and having the most experience out of the starting lineup, despite being only 24 years of age.
He also shot an impressive 56 percent from the field and 50 percent from deep. The way he stepped up made a huge difference for Detroit, influencing the way everyone played which lead to the victory.
In closing:
While nine consecutive losses for the OKC Thunder don’t look great on paper, we can find some comfort in knowing that even through adversity OKC still comes out to play with passion and conviction.
Dort’s magnificent performances show that he is still doing everything in his power to try and win, and that’s admirable.
Next up, the Thunder take on the Toronto Raptors on Sunday in Tampa, Florida at 6:00 pm CT.
