Best OKC Thunder reserve performance:

ISAIAH ROBY. A. . F. Oklahoma City Thunder

Isaiah Roby was the best reserve for the OKC Thunder. He recorded 18 points, eight rebounds, two steals, two assists, and a block. He amazed with some high-flying dunks and brought great energy onto the floor in his 29 minutes of play.

Despite not starting recently, he always brings a spark off the bench and is willing to do anything to help the team.

Best opponent performance:

RUSSELL WESTBROOK. A+. . G. Washington Wizards

Russell Westbrook was phenomenal. It was an arduous job to try and stop him as he put up 37 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists. It was his fourth triple-double in a row and his 14th in 16 games.

This season, Westbrook has recorded a total of 28 triple-doubles. The Wizards have 13 games left and he has the chance to finish up with 41, just one shy of his 2017 MVP season. He is putting up these numbers while still playing in a shortened 72 game NBA year and having missed games due to injury.

I believe that if the Wizards were higher up in the standings, that he would be in the MVP conversation.

In closing:

The OKC Thunder’s next game is against the 76ers in Philadelphia on Monday. They only have 12 games left.

As this will be the last player grades piece I do for this year, it’s been rewarding to see the youngsters get their opportunity to make their dreams a reality.

I will admit, I’m looking forward to next season when ‘tanking mode’ will hopefully not be activated and the OKC Thunder can get some wins as they deserve. A top-eight ranking is what I’m predicting very early.

Enjoy the last lot of games, Thunder fans.
