OKC Thunder target No. 1) Jalen Green, G, G League Ignite

Though perhaps viewed as the “wrong Jalen” to be found on this list, we at TI are big believers when it comes to the high ceiling that Jalen Green possesses heading into the NBA.

Tabbed as being arguably the best scorer in this upcoming draft, the 6-5 wing has the makings of a perennial All-Star and could be exactly the type of interchangeable player to run in the starting lineup alongside SGA.

A consensus five-star recruit, as well as the number one ranked shooting guard in the 2020 recruiting class, Green opted to bypass the NCAA and head straight for a pro career, inking a deal with the NBA G League Ignite.

There, the 19-year-old went on to in all 15 games for the franchise, leading the team with 17.9 points per game to go along with other averages of 4.1 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.5 steals per game on 46 percent shooting from the floor and 37 percent shooting from deep.

Unlike most of the other top-tier prospects, Green has already proven capable of shinning against former, current, and future NBA players, whereas guys like Jalen Suggs have only proven the latter.

A game with a strong resemblance to that of Boston Celtics All-Star Jaylen Brown, the former McDonalds All-American has the capability of being one of the next best two-way players in the game and is a legitimate franchise building-block talent in the making.

By all means, Green should be high up on the radar for the OKC Thunder.
