Former OKC Thunder player No. 2) Dennis Schroder

Speaking of former OKC Thunder players getting paid this upcoming offseason…

Dennis Schroder has been a great asset for the defending champions, Los Angeles Lakers, throughout this season, serving as the team’s starting point guard and, in turn, finding himself producing as one of their best players.

Through 58 games played, the eighth-year veteran is posting solid all-around per-game averages of 15.6 points, 5.8 assists, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per game on 44 percent shooting from the floor and 34 percent shooting from deep.

However, what’s more impressive is his play during the month of April, where the Lakers have been without LeBron James for its entirety and only just managed to get Anthony Davis back after being sidelined for two months due to calf and heel issues.

Though they may only find themselves boasting a 6-8 record on the month, the German-born baller has been on an absolute tear, averaging 16.4 points, 8.4 assists, 3.3 rebounds, and just over a steal per game on 46 percent shooting from the floor and 40 percent shooting from deep during this span.

Now, having earned the trust of the King himself, we could easily see Schroder’s high-level production continue on into the postseason, which would be massive for the team’s hopes for a repeat as well as his own hopes to cash in this summer on the open market.
