Houston Rockets (16-47)

If the Wolves taught us anything this week it’s that any of these bottom teams could still turn things around and climb the ladder.

Granted, with just 16 wins on the season that would be the most difficult for the Rockets. They did put up an impressive win this week posting 143 points on the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday.  Earlier in the week, a loss to the Wolves was part of the reason for Minnesota’s ascent.

This weekend the Rockets will play a back-to-back set versus the Warriors and Knicks. Both opponents are invested in improving their seeding so it should be a lock for the Rockets to get two losses. That is unless they’ve decided to bring the same type of effort they did versus the Bucks or Kevin Porter Jr. elects to test his hot streak to follow up his 50 point effort.

After Saturday, the Rockets’ final seven opponents are all versus top seven (or higher) seeds.
