Way OKC Thunder fans could watch 2021 postseason No. 2) Scout impending free-agents/ trade partners

Next up, something we at the site personally find to be incredibly fun is playing the role of General Manager and, in turn, think up ways to better the roster for the OKC Thunder moving forward.

Analyzing talent and the fit of potential offseason targets is a big part of a GM’s job, and during this upcoming postseason, you better believe every team’s front office will be tuning in to scout.

For Oklahoma City fans who don’t have their team to watch and analyze, you may as well join in on the scouting party and look out for some impending free agents and players rumored to be on the block.

Specific players we’ve been discussing for quite a while that will find themselves in the postseason are John Collins (Atlanta) and Frank Ntilikina (New York), just to name a couple.

However, what one can also do is analyze how a team plays during this upcoming stretch and find out who could be a potential trade partner for guys Sam Presti and co. are looking to offload.

Obviously, the top priority this coming summer is for the Thunder to try and offload Al Horford and the remaining two years left on his deal.

In the past, we’ve discussed 3 specific teams in the Golden State Warriors, Boston Celtics, and Charlotte Hornets that could be potential destinations for the veteran center, and all currently find themselves still playing.

Seeing how their bigs perform could provide more clarity as to how serious each of these franchises could be about looking to make alterations to the position, and if a guy like Horford could be of service.

Throughout the 2021 postseason, fan scouting could be an added entertainment.
