OKC Thunder replacement target No. 3) Lonzo Ball

Now we get into a current NBA player that would be a no-brainer add into the starting lineup if acquired by the OKC Thunder.

For months now we’ve been discussing the idea of the front office pursuing Lonzo Ball this summer and, the more that time passes by, the more we believe it would be a great move for the franchise.

Still just 23-years-old, the former second overall pick from the 2017 NBA Draft is coming off of arguably his best season as a pro where he posted 14.6 points, 5.7 assists, 4.8 rebounds, 1.5 steals, and just over a half-block per game on 41 percent shooting from the floor and 38 percent shooting from deep.

In possession of impressive two-way talents, adding the young Ball would give Oklahoma City a great backcourt partner for SGA on both ends of the floor, while his high IQ and passing skills would allow the star to take part in far more easy catch-and-shoot opportunities, where he shot at a 43 percent clip on said attempts from downtown.

Having a set-up artist like Lonzo would make it easier for everyone on the roster to get cleaner looks at a bucket while also giving the team yet another long and lanky talent that the front office seemingly loves to have.
