Restricted free-agent target for OKC Thunder No. 2) Lonzo Ball

Like Trent Jr., Lonzo Ball is a player that has often been found linked to the OKC Thunder throughout the past several months, with Oklahoma City even being viewed as the ‘top landing spot’ for the point guard at one point in time.

Knowing his specific playstyle coupled with his vast improvements over the last several years, it’s reasonable to believe that a guy like Ball could thrive in the Sooner State.

Coming off of his best season as a pro, the fourth-year guard posted per-game averages of 14.6 points, 5.7 assists, 4.8 rebounds, 1.5 steals, and just over a half-block on 41 percent shooting from the floor and 38 percent shooting from deep.

A lengthy guard with impressive defensive abilities and a high basketball IQ, Ball seems to fit the mold of players that Presti loves to roster, and his fit alongside SGA in the starting backcourt could prove to be lethal.

Having a pass-first aficionado like Lonzo Ball in the lineup would make it far easier for everyone in the rotation to get cleaner looks at a bucket while also giving the team yet another youthful (23) baller that could serve as a building block for the franchise moving forward.
