OKC Thunder: 2 players worth taking outside of top-3

OKC Thunder prospect No. 1) Scottie Barnes
Viewed by some as a prospect capable of coming away from draft night being deemed the “steal of the draft”, Florida State forward, Scottie Barnes, is a do-it-all type player that could absolutely thrive with the OKC Thunder.
A one-and-done product from the Sunshine State, the 19-year-old showcased a stellar amount of potential as an all-around basketball player at the next level. Through 24 games played this season, the 6-9 four posted averages of 10.3 points, 4.1 assists, four boards, and 1.5 steals per game on 50 percent shooting from the field.
Through his lone season at the collegiate level, many have argued that he left much to be desired in regard to his play, but his impressive passing instincts and fluid ball-handling skills for his position, coupled with his defensive versatility still helped guide him to win the ACC Freshman of the Year award, ACC Sixth Man of the Year award, and a spot on the Third-team All-ACC roster.
All those familiar with the plan for the OKC Thunder moving forward are aware of their desire to run more positionless basketball sets, and Barnes’ bag of tricks on both ends of the court seemingly fits wonderfully into this gameplan.
