OKC Thunder prospect No. 2) Jalen Suggs

While there are those who view the Gonzaga standout as a top-3 prospect coming into this year’s draft, the majority of recent mock drafts we’ve been seeing have the point guard falling outside of this range, right behind the likes of Cade Cunningham, Evan Mobley, and Jalen Green in that particular order.

Though a lot can change between now and draft night, we’re going to continue based on recent trends and suggest that the 20-year-old could be available for the taking if the OKC Thunder fall out of slots one through three.

If this were to happen, and the youngster found himself still on the board, Presti should without a doubt pounce on the opportunity to nab the one-and-done talent.

Guiding the Bulldogs to a 31-1 record overall as well to the NCAA Final, Suggs put forth one of the seasons all throughout the 2020-21 collegiate campaign, as he posted stellar per-game averages of 14.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.9 steals on 50 percent shooting from the floor and 34 percent shooting from deep.

A natural playmaker with stupendous court vision, Suggs could easily come into Oklahoma City and serve alongside Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in the team’s starting backcourt at the one right from day one.
